Incident
This incident refers to a lived experience of one of my friends Jim who had recovered from being an alcoholic. We were schoolmates and he started drinking at a very early age. It was when we were in High School that he embraced a life of a party. He always had the opportunity of drinking with everyone and started to have fun which ended his living in hell. This is an absolute incident of alcohol abuse and it is specific to the alcoholic context. He continued drinking throughout high school and in the business college. Even when he joined his first office, he continued his drinking. But during that time drinking was controlled. He says that he was young and had the stamina to get drunk every night and every day and the vicious cycle continued. Eventually, he married and was successful in his career, and held a very prestigious job.
Things started to become different as the prospects of alcohol abuse started. There were continuous fights with his wife and in some aspects, the fight became so bigger that his wife to away his children and walked out of the home one day. When things again became normal, he started abusing his wife and at a time was so drunk that he started to physically abuse his wife. He started blaming everyone for his condition and eventually lost his job. This was at this point he started to recklessly spend his savings. Eventually, the time came when there was no...
