There are so many well organized and documented opportunity and achievement gaps in income and recognition terms of race and gender in education system not only in America but also in other countries across the globe. The K-12 education has always provided a accountable policy to reduce such gap of income and recognition between man and woman by means of questionable ways and effectiveness. The aforesaid accountability policies however need academic proficiency in reporting while considering gender but there is somehow no explicit goal or objective which can reduce such gap of recognition and income. There is no such hard accountability which can sanction the gender based performance. Here, the main questions arises that if gender can be included in the accountability policies in K-12 education system of America. (Bolkan, 2018)
Analysis of the provided article by the National Women’s History Museum what is the role of woman in the K-12 education in America. Is there are being treated well in terms of income and recognition as that of the man. Considering the accountability policies in the K-12 education system and its intervention can also help to produce more appropriate results in terms of equality of gender in the current education system. Today, this system which mainly based on the standardized tools of teaching. According to the reports of a recent research the gender equality starts from the kindergarten school to postgraduate education with the use of STEM parity for measurement. However, the complete image of the gender equality of the education system can devalue the contribution of woman and generally underestimates the abilities and intellectualities of the young woman (Mead, 2018).
In simple words the outcomes of math and STEM will provide better insight for more systemic analysis of the problem. With regard to the access of the equity the lines of gender from the kindergarten with the help of workforce is considerably questionable and biased towards the abilities of a woman (Mead, 2018).
