Assessment Description. The purpose of this assessment is to foster students ability to coherently reflect on their undertaking of the Capstone: Strategy subject together with a reflection on their entire MBA. Assessment Instructions You are required to look back at their MBA course as a whole and identify the specific skills developed that will assist them in becoming effective practitioners in the workplace. Learning is a persistent change in performance or potential that results from experience and interaction. Reflective learning is the process of stepping back from the experience and reflecting on how skills, attitudes, mindset and behaviours have evolved. Your reflective essay must cover the following: • Introduction. • A brief discussion on the value of relective practice for managers and leaders • A personal reflection on learnings from the capstone subject and consultancy research process. • A personal reflection on skills developed over the MBA. • A personal reflection on how these will assist in future career endeavours. • Conclusions. • References. The reflective essay should include discussion of learnings from both a theoretical and practical perspective. Additionally, insights from undertaking assessments and research, capstone lessons as well as group activities from this and other subjects over the duration of the course. Introduction
This essay reflects the how the strategy subjec

The essay also deals with the ideologies, the management and the skills a student inhibit during the carrying over of his MBA program. It reflects all the imposed talents and the skills a student grasps which would be helping them in their future endeavors in their workplace. It focuses on the overall knowledge a student garner during their MBA period which further help them in their work environment and achieve their goals and dreams. And it also showcases how the overall spent tenure help them to evolve their mindset, skills and attitude in a positive way.
Value of Reflective Practices for Managers and Leaders
Reflective practice is termed as the practice which takes into account thinking about or reflecting on what a person do. To think about what happened is a part of human life cycle which a human performs daily. But there is a lot more difference between a casual thinking and a reflective practice. A reflective practice requires a conscious effort to think about the past events and then consider those events to develop insights from them. Reflective practice is a habit which needs a considerate time of a person to analyze it. The reflective practices possess a great value for managers and leaders due to its several implications (Sherwood et al., 2020).
Fast learning and getting up to speed in new situations more quickly-
The reflective practice helps the managers and the leaders to learn and adapt the things that are difficult to rectify. The reflective practice also helps the leaders and managers in speeding up in the new situation quickly and performing according to it. Manager and leaders are termed as the senior authority who need to be updated and well versed with all the new ideologies and ideas and reflective practice provides them that base to act accordingly in every situation and influence their subordinates so that they could perform well.
Not making the same mistake twice
Imitating the same mistake is something which increases the workload and degrades the authenticity of a thing being carried out. Reflective practice alert the managers and the leaders and prevent them from imitating their mistakes. As the managers or the leaders are the one upon whom the whole team relies or get the motivation from them. If the leaders will repeat their mistakes that will set a wrong example for the subordinates the reflective practice prevents them from committing such mistakes and learn from their mistake by evaluating it and be a motivation factor for their juniors.
Prepare them to deal with unfamiliar situations
The reflective practices prepare the managers and the leaders to deal with certain unfamiliar practices which could arise in the workplace. For the managers and leaders they are the one who formulate the guidelines and strategy how to tackle the unfamiliar situation. The reflective practices help them to deal with unfamiliar situations by recognizing connection between seemingly unrelated situations. The reflective practices help in closely analyzing the situation and forming the best possible solution for the relevant situation.
Questioning their assumptions and let them take better decisions
The reflective practices are the base which is set up by evaluating someone past experience and to know what the person has learnt from their experiences how they analyzes it. The reflective practices make the managers and the leaders question their own assumptions and further help them in evaluating their assumptions so that they could choose a best decision out of it. The reflective practice works as a best companion which could help a person in analyzing their whole perspective and then initiate their decisions accordingly (Harry-Nana, P. and Bosch, A., 2020).
Creating awareness
Reflective practices are well known for making a person aware of the personal as well as the professional values that could led to attain a proper result. From the perspective of the managers and the leaders they are the one who need to be more aware regarding what practices to be followed in the workplace and what decisions should be implemented in order to garner the best result.
