Scenario 1
Certain steps need to be done to investigate a crime scene that has been presented in front of me. After locating the dead body, I will establish a parameter that is large enough t
o contain the relevant information and collect the pieces of evidence of homicide. Then I will measure the total perimeter of the location and alert security with the local police and I will also provide awareness to the local people not to step into the perimeter of the investigation. Determining the type of crime and identification of certain pieces of evidence surrounding the dead body is very important to be considered. I will also alert the forensic department and paramedics for providing me with information related to the dead body and how the death has occurred.

I will make sure that every little detail is properly notified so that it will help for further investigation to be conducted.

The wool cap will certainly content the hair of the perpetrator and that will be collected first. Secondly, I will collect the chewing gum for further details of the DNA and will ask the forensic department if both the DNAs of the hare and the chewing gum are similar. After sending these two pieces of evidence to the forensic department will look for fingerprints and footprints in a flower bed.
Fingerprints are also a very important object for identification of the physical evidence. Cartridge casting and dust will follow for identification of possible fingerprints and footprints to be matched with the footprints found in the flower bed. Lastly, I will take several pictures of the whole scene that includes the footprints and fingerprints of the perpetrator and describe them as documents for investigation.
