INTRODUCTION
The given project highlights the Criminal justice system to identify the mental illness of the female prisoner and plan a proper solution thereof. The number of female prisoners is increasing, and instead of sending to the correctional hospitals or institutional, they were forcefully sent to the jail (Chikaodiri, 2015).
The first section will exemplify the whole scenario related to the misconduct done but the female prisoner and the reasons why they commit any criminal activity.
The second section will describe the appropriate resolution to help the female’s inmates with the mental illness or any other disorder.
The third section will describe the safety and security measures done by the Criminal social justice system to help the inmates.
The fourth section will highlight the various theories to understand why people indulge in the criminal activities and which elements instigate the people to commit any illegal activity.
The last section will describe the related acts, equitable acts and career growth in the criminal justice system.
The conclusion will be added in the end to find the findings of the fact.
THESIS STATEMENT
The Thesis statement is the misconduct of female prisoners and the reason along with the appropriate solution associated with the performance of misconduct in female inmates. The authority of the prisons has a crucial suggestion for these female inmates experiencing while the clinical course of their incarnation, and likelihood of parole.
MISCONDUCT BY FEMALE PRISONER
Most of the female prisoner inmates have some mental illness, Co-occurring disorders or substance use which forces the inmates and creates difficulty balancing in the prisons and increases the higher chances of misbehaviour or criminal activities. As per the prison officials has provided crucial suggestions for the female inmates and a reason associated with it. Today, Number of females in the criminal justice system has been increased, and they try to find out the reason for increasing misconduct of female prisoner. It is to be believed that the criminal activities in females is increasing due to their mental illness, faces traumatic victimization, co-occurring disorder, usage of drugs etc. The number of mental and physical disorder creates difficulty in maintaining balance to incarnation along with it found to be the greatest reason for the misconduct of the female inmates. It is very significant to observe the behaviour of the inmates for the safety and security of the visitors, staff and inmates. The officer of the prisoner showed a negative attitude towards the female inmates rather than males inmates and considered females inmates as difficult to manage their criminal attitude. The female inmates were exposed to strict rules and regulation with such greater observance of disciplinary rules. Women are not receiving proper treatment and care and sent them to the hospital as the society has given them a term “inhumane”. Instead of getting proper medication in hospitals, they were sent to the mental asylum so that they lost their mental capacity and capability and indulged in the criminal activities and misbehave with the inmates (Munster, 2013).
Kalief Browder was a 16-year-old teenager who got prisoned because he backpacks the content which includes I pod, camera and credit card and sentenced to three years of jail. But after some years he got released because the lawyer did not get any proof that the teenage boy steals the content after kalief discharged he commits suicide because of the physical and mental abuse in prison. In this case, U.S government got alert and took effective action to help such kinds of case.
