    A significant issue associated with healthcare in the Federal Register that is still under a discussion is the practices associated with the spread of infection as well as prevention and control of infection in the different healthcare facilities and systems. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss certain key points in relation to the above-mentioned topic. The first aspect that was meant to be discussed was the practices undergone by the healthcare facilities for the purpose of infection control as well as prevention (FEDERAL REGISTER, 2021). In addition to that, certain other aspects were also discussed which is inclusive of the formulation and implementation of different strategies for the purpose of surveillance, prevention, control of infections, antimicrobial resistance in the different healthcare facilities. The Federal Register also aims at periodically updating the CDC guidelines as well as all the other policies that are intricately associated with prevention of infections in the purview of the healthcare system (FEDERAL REGISTER, 2021).
