Leadership practices and philosophies of an ideal le
ader can cast a positive environment in a care organization. When implemented practically, the theories of leadership prove to be very much realistic and relevant, which cause positive impact on the workplace of the nurses. This, in turn, leads to better nursing practices and consequently, improved patient outcomes. As supported by Boamah, Laschinger, Wong and Clarke (2018), positivity imparted by the leaders are so strong that even if they might not play formal roles, sometimes, they can inspire nurses to perform better and can even communicate with the patients to make them feel better.
