Dear Sir,
Through this letter I want to urge that our state need an age-friendly health policy. As building the health system that would be providing high quality evidence-based health care to older adults. Though problems for the senior citizen regarding availing the health benefits was becoming difficult day by day but the recent coronavirus outbreak has taken these problems to an another extent. As in the first stage of the pandemic we observed that the adult and senior citizen were among the groups who were extremely impacted by the pandemic. The adults are not much familiar with the new techniques through which the people are availing the healthcare benefits or they do not have enough strength so that they could struggle to avail the medical benefits they require.
I request you to support this policy and give your further focus on it as it will be very beneficial and important concerning the health situation of our elder citizens. Through the age-friendly health the elder citizen would be provided an innovative model of care, including the home based approaches, serious illness and end-of life care, family care giving and disparities and equity in care.
