people have been one of the main initiatives to reduce tobacco consumption among men and women of Australia. Tobacco issues are a growing problem in Australia and it needs to be cut down in order to promote better health policies among men and women. Tobacco consumption can cause severe health issues problems that are affecting the overall health problems of people of Australia and it needs to be taken to control in order to promote a healthy lifestyle and security. There are certain health issues that can be addressed by the campaign and the severity of tobacco consumption and its ultimate results will be determined for understanding and acknowledging the effects of tobacco consumption (Siddiqi et al., 2019). The campaign will help to understand why tobacco consumption can be very harmful to human beings and what are possible results can be gathered.
It will promote a healthy lifestyle and the positive effects of living a healthy and proper lifestyle that can change the perspective of a person towards society. The generation capacity of Australian households is quite moderate and smoking is a regular phenomenon Among many adults and teenagers which is a growing concern of the country because at least 21000 Australians have been killed by tobacco consumption in the year 2015. Tobacco can cause some serious diseases that can lead a person to death. It also impacts immensely on socio-economic standards of a person and it reflects on society because the consumption of tobacco can be impactful for the people of the community (Stone & Marshall, 2019). It leads to various health-related financial and economic costs for the community and that is why the campaigns are being arranged to secure people from consuming tobacco.
The campaign what also help people quit smoking and promote various health and the financial related suggestion that can be quite helpful for people. Tobacco-related health campaigns are one of the longest-running campaigns that are continuing in Australian society. From the year 1997, the Australian government has started a National tobacco campaign in order to promote a healthy lifestyle for Australian citizens and to reduce the total consumption of tobacco. Sofa the campaign has shown positive results and 3.7 % after tobacco consumption has been reduced.
Importance of Campaign
    Tobacco is created from dried leaves of the tobacco plant and the main active ingredient of tobacco is the nicotine that has erected properties. People generally consume tobacco buy cigarette cigars or B but it can also be snorted or chewed. Tobacco is legal in Australia but the people have to face serious regulations on the love of the government for the consumption and supply of tobacco. The country does not give permission to any companies to advertise or promote tobacco in Australia and that has been one of the greatest steps that the government has taken to restrict tobacco consumption. Tobacco is still popular among people because of its addictive value that ensures consumption among many people. Despite Australia being the lowest among OECD countries in terms of tobacco consumption at least 11.2 % of the Australians between the age of 15 to 20 are consuming tobacco. The gaps of quite high because the average tobacco consumption in OECD countries is 15.4 percent (Saha & Paul, 2018).
